LILY
Bipeds Productions are currently seeking touring opportunities for their celebrated dance work Lily in 2010.
As well as starring Kilda Northcott & Lyne Pringle, this prototype features a cast of local dance students and choreography by a local private sector teacher.
This innovative approach offers a unique bridge between professional performance and community involvement to present a highly polished public performance.
Bipeds toured a 'teaser' of the work to three centres in 2008 and previewed the work in Dunedin April 2009 to great critical acclaim and capacity houses at the Fortune Theatre with a chorus of 32 students from age 7 to young adults from three local dance schools.
KildaNorthcott received a Supreme Performance Award for Lily at Tempo 08.

Kilda Northcott & Lyne Pringle
Northcott is considered a ‘national treasure'.
Fishnet is a rapturous exploration of the expressive body.
It is a brilliant, well crafted, witty, moving and clever performance. The core component of the show is unpredictable dance, by turns lyrical and comical to a beautiful Plan 9 soundscape with exceptional use of video projection.
After a sell-out preview season in 2005 the show had a triumphant national tour in 2006 with sell-out houses, standing ovations and numerous awards.
